Castle Rock Forest Partnership was the 28th forest established by Roger Dickie (NZ) Ltd and is situated 1 km off State Highway 2 on Cricklewood Road, south of Wairoa and 110 km from Napier.
In 2021 Castle Rock had an estimated net stocked area of 239 hectares. Planted in 1994, harvest is forecast to commence in 2022 and will take approximately 2 1/2 years to complete. The harvested areas will be replanted each Winter.
